We have created a fine yarn that has the combination of Eri silk and TENCELTM fiber. The yarn is being spun at Lakumas spinning mill in Central Java using the latest spinning technology with high efficiency and power saving instrument.
Later, the yarn will be handwoven and batik painted at KaIND workshop in Purwosari, Pasuruan. |

The presence of eco-friendly local yarns and fabrics will revive and develop the handwoven products along with the batik industry. It will also enable to reduce the dependency on non-domestic silk yarns and fabrics to lead to the reestablishment of the national textile industry.

Together with Lakumas and local eri silkworm farmers, to create new jobs in the village and to recall the productive age generation back to the village with attractive jobs and income by developing their skills on silk cultivation, hand-weaving, hand-drawn batik and natural dyeing techniques.
